Artist's Comment:
"I built up the surface, allowing some areas to become dense and almost obscured, while others were left exposed or broken through.
I was drawn to the tension that developed between those heavier passages and the areas of brightness that continued to emerge. I wanted to leave that contrast unresolved, darkness still present, but light finding a way through, even here."

A reminder that even in the
deep and shadowed places,
light is still present.
Not always visible,
but always there.
