Created through layers of soft, atmospheric colour, broken brushwork and repeated marks. Areas are built up, softened and partially revealed, creating a surface that shifts between quieter passages and more concentrated areas of colour.

The visible brushwork and layered marks are an important part of the finished piece, giving the painting a sense of movement and depth, with some areas remaining quiet while others are more defined.
