Artist's Comment:
"I allowed the forms in this painting to emerge softly, letting edges blur and colours move into one another while certain marks remained more defined. I wanted to create a sense of change and movement while still holding something constant within the painting.
Some forms shift, others seem to return, different each time, but connected by something that always remains."
The Shape of Always
Time changes almost everything.
Edges soften.
Colours deepen.
We become less who we were,
and more who we are.
Yet something remains,
untouched by time.
Not fixed.
Not fragile.
Simply,
The shape of always.
